English verbs have five primary forms: the base, – S, -ing, past,
and past participle forms.
The past participles for regular verbs are not very challenging because
They’re the same as the past forms. The past participles for irregular
verbs are exciting, though, because they’re seldom the
same as the base form and the past form and because they’re
sometimes different from both.
Because the base, past, and past participle forms are often taught
and learned together, we’ve provided a list below. The base, past,
and past participle forms for more than 220 verbs are given.
