Introduction

Global Warming refers to the abnormal/unnatural heating of the Earth’s surface due to the greenhouse effect created by greenhouse gases like CO2, methane, etc. The constant and perpetual change in the environment comes across as a hazard; it’s affecting lives, the biospheres, the natural habitats of various species and the environment too. It’s not only an environmental issue but a social issue as well. One can’t neglect the effects, the consequences of ecological change. The human race is the reason why things altered in natural settings, and now only Humans are responsible for changing the circumstances.

ग्लोबल वार्मिंग का तात्पर्य पृथ्वी की सतह के असामान्य / अप्राकृतिक ताप से है, जो ग्रीनहाउस गैसों जैसे CO2, मीथेन आदि द्वारा निर्मित ग्रीनहाउस प्रभाव के कारण है। पर्यावरण में निरंतर और सतत परिवर्तन एक खतरे के रूप में सामने आता है; यह जीवन, जीवधारियों, विभिन्न प्रजातियों के प्राकृतिक आवास और पर्यावरण को भी प्रभावित कर रहा है। यह न केवल एक पर्यावरणीय मुद्दा है, बल्कि एक सामाजिक मुद्दा भी है। पारिस्थितिक परिवर्तन के परिणामों के प्रभावों की उपेक्षा नहीं की जा सकती है। मानव जाति यही कारण है कि चीजें प्राकृतिक सेटिंग्स में बदल गईं, और अब केवल मानव ही परिस्थितियों को बदलने के लिए जिम्मेदार हैं।

Causes of Global Warming

The reasons for global Warming are natural also, but mostly human-made. The rising population, the pressure on nature due to it’s perpetually increasing demands, the setting up of industries, factories emitting toxic wastes, all of these are the reasons why the Earth is dealing with this sickness- Global Warming.

ग्लोबल वार्मिंग के कारण प्राकृतिक भी हैं, लेकिन ज्यादातर मानव निर्मित हैं बढ़ती जनसंख्या, प्रकृति पर लगातार बढ़ती माँगों के कारण दबाव, उद्योगों की स्थापना, जहरीले कचरे का उत्सर्जन करने वाले कारखाने, ये सभी वे कारण हैं जिनकी वजह से पृथ्वी इस बीमारी से निपट रही है।

The release of greenhouse gases like CO2 and sulfur dioxide has recently and rapidly increased in the recent ten years. The greenhouse gases tend to trap heat and keep it in the environment itself. And the excess of such gases due to human activities have made the Earth a hotbox.

CO2 और सल्फर डाइऑक्साइड जैसी ग्रीनहाउस गैसों की रिहाई हाल के दस वर्षों में तेजी से बढ़ी है। ग्रीनहाउस गैसें गर्मी में फंस जाती हैं और इसे पर्यावरण में ही बनाए रखती हैं। और मानवीय गतिविधियों के कारण ऐसी गैसों की अधिकता ने पृथ्वी को एक हॉटबॉक्स बना दिया है।

The depletion of the ozone layer is also a factor behind global Warming; the harmful radioactive gases are easily able to enter into the atmosphere and harm species and nature. The presence of aerosols used in air conditioners/refrigerators and such cooling machines are causing another devastation in the atmosphere. The existing heat in the environment is a thing that humans created and is now struggling with the same.

Effects of Global Warming

The effects of global Warming have been evident in the world. There’s no denying that it’s eating up the environment’s well being.

ग्लोबल वार्मिंग के प्रभाव दुनिया में स्पष्ट हैं। वहाँ कोई इनकार नहीं कर रहा है कि यह पर्यावरण को नुकसान पहुँचा रहा है।

It has been recorded that out of 150 glaciers located in Montana’s Glacier National Park, there are some 25 left. The US Geological Survey reveals the eye-opening effect of Global Warming.

यह दर्ज किया गया है कि मोंटाना के ग्लेशियर नेशनल पार्क में स्थित 150 ग्लेशियरों में से कुछ 25 शेष हैं। यूएस जियोलॉजिकल सर्वे ने ग्लोबल वार्मिंग के आंख खोलने के प्रभाव का खुलासा किया है।

The summers feel like burning. The monsoons aren’t very pleasant either. The climate has changed.

Global Warming has brought various shifts in the real nature of the environment. The increasing of the summer season, decreasing winter season, increasing temperature, the declining ozone layer, cyclones, floods, the erratic weather conditions all of them are affecting lives.

ग्लोबल वार्मिंग ने पर्यावरण की वास्तविक प्रकृति में विभिन्न बदलाव लाए हैं। गर्मी के मौसम का बढ़ना, सर्दी का मौसम कम होना, तापमान का गिरना, ओजोन परत का गिरना, चक्रवात, बाढ़, मौसम की अनियमित परिस्थितियां इन सभी का जीवन प्रभावित हो रहा है।

Conclusion- Solutions to Global Warming

There are many new initiatives taken up by the government, NGOs, the social workers, environmental activists, etc., all of them have been raising voice against the continuous exploitation of environment that is in result affecting lives. Global Warming is such a consequence of the same.

Reducing the level of coal and oil burning, and using the means of transportation, use of electrical devices- all such initiatives cold help control global warming rates. The use of substitute energy resources such as solar energy, windmill energy- all of them could help save the environment.

सरकार, गैर सरकारी संगठनों, सामाजिक कार्यकर्ताओं, पर्यावरण कार्यकर्ताओं, आदि द्वारा कई नई पहल की गई हैं, ये सभी पर्यावरण के निरंतर शोषण के खिलाफ आवाज उठा रहे हैं जो जीवन को प्रभावित कर रहा है। ग्लोबल वार्मिंग उसी का एक परिणाम है।

कोयले और तेल के जलने के स्तर को कम करना, और परिवहन के साधनों का उपयोग करना, बिजली के उपकरणों का उपयोग करना – इस तरह की सभी पहलों से ग्लोबल वार्मिंग दर को नियंत्रित करने में मदद मिलती है। सौर ऊर्जा, पवनचक्की ऊर्जा जैसे स्थानापन्न ऊर्जा संसाधनों का उपयोग- ये सभी पर्यावरण को बचाने में मदद कर सकते हैं।
